NCT PRO Challenge Asia 2026

NCT PRO Challenge brings CBRNE, EOD, SWAT and Special Operations Forces together for six days of intensive, scenario-based training.

Participating teams are integrated into multinational, multidisciplinary Joint Task Forces (JTFs). It is these JTFs — combining different nationalities, disciplines and capabilities — that plan and execute realistic CBRNE, EOD and counter-terrorism missions, as well as scenarios focused on countering adversaries’ hybrid warfare activities.

Operations are coordinated through a professional Tactical Operations Center (TOC), with TAK-based Command & Control providing a common operational picture and supporting mission coordination in the field. A team of around a dozen experienced instructors/controllers supports the JTFs throughout the Challenge.

Participating industry technologies are integrated into the missions, putting equipment directly into the hands of operators. Each mission concludes with a structured After Action Review (AAR), bringing operators, instructors and technology providers together to capture lessons, evaluate performance and provide direct feedback.

The result is a training environment where international teams learn to operate together, capabilities are tested as part of realistic missions, and technology is evaluated by the people using it in the field.

NCT PRO Challenge Asia builds throughout the week. Teams first meet their multinational JTF partners and the technologies available to them, before moving into three days of operational missions. The week culminates in the NCT PRO Challenge Competition, followed by the certificate ceremony and NCT PRO Party.

SUNDAY — MEET YOUR JTF

Icebreaker at Naresuan Base

The Challenge starts on Sunday as participating teams, instructors/controllers and industry partners come together at Naresuan Base. Teams meet the international and multidisciplinary units they will operate alongside as part of their Joint Task Force.

Technology Briefings & Familiarization

Before going into the field, operators need to know the capabilities available to them. Industry partners introduce and train the teams on technologies that will be integrated into the missions during the week.

This is not an exhibition day. It is preparation for operations.

TUESDAY–THURSDAY — EXECUTE THE MISSIONS

Three days of multinational operations

The JTFs deploy into a series of CBRNE, EOD, counter-terrorism and hybrid-warfare scenarios. Missions are coordinated through the professional Tactical Operations Center (TOC) using TAK-based Command & Control, while experienced instructors/controllers support and evaluate the teams in the field.

Every mission concludes with a structured After Action Review (AAR) to capture lessons, assess performance and provide feedback.

FRIDAY — TAKE THE CHALLENGE

NCT PRO Challenge Competition

After three days of training together, the focus shifts to competition. The JTFs put what they have learned during the week to the test in the NCT PRO Challenge Competition.

The week concludes by recognizing the operators and teams that completed the Challenge, followed by the NCT PRO Party — bringing participants, instructors and industry partners together one final time.
