What is NCT PRO Challenge América del Sur

From regional cooperation to operational readiness.

In 2026, the Brazilian Army brought together commanders, chiefs and directors of CBRN defence structures from South American armies to strengthen regional cooperation, interoperability and mutual confidence.

Representatives from Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname and Uruguay joined the Brazilian Army's CBRN Defence System for the first meeting of this regional initiative.

In 2027, that cooperation moves from the meeting room into the field.

The Brazilian Army's planned Multinational CBRN Integration Exercise will take place in Rio de Janeiro in conjunction with NCT PRO Challenge América del Sur. CBRN defense structures from across South America will train together to strengthen multinational capability and prepare specialized units for operations surrounding the FIFA Women's World Cup 2027 in Brazil.

NCT PRO Challenge provides the operational environment to make that cooperation real.

Four days of multinational operations

THREE DAYS — FORTE COPACABANA

Build the Joint Task Force and learn the new technology

Participating teams are integrated into multinational, multidisciplinary Joint Task Forces (JTFs) and execute three days of complex CBRN and related operational missions at Forte Copacabana.

JTFs combine personnel, specialist capabilities and technologies from different countries and operate through a professional Tactical Operations Center (TOC) using TAK-based Command & Control.

Experienced instructors/controllers support the missions, while every operation concludes with a structured After Action Review (AAR) to capture lessons and prepare the JTF for its next mission.

ONE DAY — FOOTBALL STADIUM

Take the mission into the World Cup environment

The Challenge culminates with exercises at a football stadium, moving the JTFs into the type of complex, high-visibility environment they are preparing to protect in 2027.

Teams must apply the capabilities, interoperability and command structures developed during the preceding missions to an operational scenario built around the challenges of protecting a major international sporting event.

TRAIN → INTEGRATE → OPERATE → PROTECT

Building on NCT América del Sur 2026

Commanders in the conference. Operators in the field.

Alongside NCT PRO Challenge, NCT and the Brazilian Army will co-host a regional conference bringing together commanders, chiefs and directors responsible for CBRN defence across South American armies.

Building on the first meeting hosted by the Brazilian Army General Staff in Brasília in June 2026, the conference will continue the regional dialogue on CBRN cooperation, interoperability, capability development and preparations for major international events.

This creates a unique environment in which strategic cooperation and operational training take place together:

Senior commanders discuss the requirements.
Multinational JTFs put capability into practice.
Industry provides technologies that operators use in the field.

Why bring your team?

OPERATE AS A MULTINATIONAL JTF

PREPARE FOR A REAL OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENT

TRAIN IN THE WORLD CUP ENVIRONMENT

LEARN. ADAPT. IMPROVE.

Our Industry partners in 2026
