Victor Gomes, MBA: Vice President and Head of International Markets SIGA Technologies

Victor Gomes is the Vice President and Head of International Markets at SIGA Technologies, a global leader in health security dedicated to developing medicines that prevent and treat emerging infectious diseases with significant unmet medical needs.

He is passionate about advancing global public health through policy, innovation and international collaboration. Victor brings extensive experience leading multinational organizations in the healthcare sector, with a strong focus on specialty care, HIV, and vaccines. His career includes in-market leadership roles across the USA, Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Before joining SIGA, Victor served as Global Marketing Director at ViiV Healthcare, where he led the global strategy for Dovato, a leading HIV treatment and $2 billion brand. He also played a pivotal role in launching Cabenuva, Rukobia, and Apretude in the U.S. market— breakthrough innovations in HIV prevention and treatment.

For over a decade, Victor held several leadership roles at GSK, including Global Marketing Lead for Relvar/Breo, a $1 billion brand for respiratory. He also led marketing for GSK’s vaccines portfolio in the Philippines, overseeing pediatric and adult products and managing launches across both private and public sectors. In addition, he served as Head of Commercial Excellence for the Consumer Healthcare division in Brazil. Throughout his tenure at GSK, he held progressively senior roles in strategy, sales, and marketing across multiple regions. Victor holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, as well as an Executive Post-MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
