Police Major General Kamthon Uicharoen currently serves as the Commander of Forensic Science Center 7 in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Ramkhamhaeng University and has undergone specialized training, including the Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer Course, as well as the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EIC) and Advanced Explosive Ordnance Disposal (AEIC) courses at Louisiana Police College in the U.S.A. Additionally, he completed the Advanced Explosive Ordnance Disposal Course at the Army School of Ammunition in England. His law enforcement training includes the Police Inspector Course (Class 65), Police Superintendent Course (Class 71), and the Advanced Police Administration Course (Class 45) at the Police College.
In 2004, Kamthon Uicharoen began his career as an explosive ordnance disposal officer in the Police Ordnance Division. From 2004 to 2010, he led the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Inspection Unit in the three Southern Border Provinces at the Operations Center of the National Police Headquarters in Yala Province. Between April 2012 and May 2017, he served as Director of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Examination Group at the Metropolitan Police Bureau. From May 2017 to September 2021, he held the position of Deputy Commander of the Patrol and Special Operation Division of the Metropolitan Police Bureau.
From October 2021 to September 2022, he served as the Commander of Forensic Science Center 5 in Lampang, before assuming his current role at Forensic Science Center 7.
Among his notable accomplishments, Major General Uicharoen was responsible for inspecting areas to ensure the safety of the royal family in Bangkok between 1994 and 2021, conducting more than 400 inspections annually. He has also been involved in critical duties related to the collection and examination of evidence.

From October 2021 to September 2022, he served as the Commander of Forensic Science Center 5 in Lampang, before assuming his current role at Forensic Science Center 7.
