Senior Assistant Commissioner Zaidy Che Hassan currently serves as the Principal Assistant Director (Armament) at the Department of Logistics and Technology, Royal Malaysian Police (RMP). With 28 years of dedicated service, he has built an accomplished career specialising in firearms and ammunition management, bomb disposal operations, and CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) preparedness.
Throughout his distinguished tenure with the Royal Malaysian Police, SAC Zaidy has been deeply involved in technical operations, capability development, and policy formulation related to armament and explosive ordnance safety. His expertise spans the entire spectrum of police armament operations — from acquisition and maintenance to operational deployment and forensic assessment.
