Mr Mohammad Aburumman
Mohammad Aburumman retired from Jordan Armed Forces as a Colonel in 2018. He participated in many EOD, CBRN, IED and military courses. One of his main assignments in the army was serving as the commander of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) unit and CBRN company commander.
After concluding his military service, he embarked on an international humanitarian organization career, hence he started working as a senior operation officer in an international mine action organization (the HALO Trust) in Amman/Jordan, and then joined the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) in the Hague, Netherlands, as an inspector (P3), after which he was promoted to Senior Chemical Demilitarization Officer (P4) in the verification division. He participated in different types of Chemical Weapons inspections (destruction and storage facilities, old and abandoned chemical weapons). He holds two bachelor’s degrees, one in chemistry and another one in military science from Mu’tah university in Jordan, and master’s degree in strategic studies from United States of America.
