Markus Barner has been the Managing Director of Kärcher Futuretech GmbH since 2022, and from 2015-2022 was the company's Executive Head of Sales and Marketing. From 2007 to 2015 he worked in numerous roles at Kärcher Futuretech, including as an Assistant to the Management, Specialist in Sales Coordination, Manager of Customer Care, and Manager of Product & Brand Management.

He has an executive Master's degree in Family Entrepreneurship from Zeppelin University, and from 2004-2007 studied Industrial Management in cooperation with Kärcher at Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education.
