Commandant Defence Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Centre (DCBRNC) 

Born in Canada, Lt Col Warrington moved to the UK in 2001 with the sole intent of joining the British Army. After a short time in the ranks, he attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and commissioned into the Royal Engineers in 2004. His time at Regimental Duty saw him experience a broad spectrum of roles within the Royal Engineers including troop command in Mechanised Engineering and Armoured Reconnaissance, and sub-unit command in Explosive Ordnance Disposal & Search, deploying on numerous operational tours to Iraq and Afghanistan.

At staff, he has gained experience in operational headquarters at every level from Battlegroup to Corps, solidifying his understanding of combined arms manoeuvre (CAM) as Directing Staff on the Intermediate Command and Staff Course (Land). Following promotion to Lt Col in 2022, Lt Col Warrington was employed in the Army Headquarters Programmes Directorate and was responsible for delivering the CBRN Protective Measures and CBRN Medical Countermeasures Programmes on behalf of UK Defence before taking command of Defence CBRN Centre.
