CAP Hojun Kwon
CPT(P) Hojun Kwon is a dedicated officer in the Republic of Korea Army, currently serving at the R.O.K Army CBRN School. With a strong academic foundation in Applied Chemistry and Military Science from the Korea Military Academy, CPT(P) Kwon has developed extensive expertise in CBRN operations, specializing in rapid response, detection, decontamination, and the establishment of robust CBRN defense measures.
In addition to his academic achievements, CPT(P) Kwon pursued further education by completing the International Master’s CBRNe course at Tor Vergata University in Italy from 2019 to 2021. This advanced training has greatly contributed to his ability to navigate complex CBRN scenarios and enhance international collaboration in the field.
Throughout his career, CPT(P) Kwon has been actively involved in various international conferences and exercises, reflecting his commitment to both national defense and global security. Notably, he presented at the SICC Series Conference in Rome in 2020 and participated in a significant CBRN conference in Abu Dhabi in 2019. His international experience also includes participation in the U.S. National Training Center (NTC) exercise as a CBRN officer in July 2023, where he further honed his skills in dealing with CBRN threats in a multinational context.
CPT(P) Kwon’s career is marked by his unwavering dedication to enhancing the Republic of Korea Army's readiness against CBRN threats. His work not only strengthens national defense but also contributes to the broader goal of maintaining international peace and security.
