Hamza leads AI policy efforts in DC for the Future of Life Institute, focused on reducing risks from AI models as they intersect with CBRN risks.

His work in this space has featured in Time, Foreign Affairs, the Lancet, the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists and others.

He was previously a Gleitsman Fellow at Harvard University, and has studied undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in International Policy from the London School of Economics.
