Lt Col Hamad Ebrahim Abdulla Zaid is a highly experienced military medical professional with over 33 years of service across air, naval, and field operations. Beginning his career as a cardiac nurse, Lt Col Zaid advanced to become the Head of the Accident and Emergency Department at the Bahrain Defence Force Royal Hospital. With a deep commitment to military medicine, he later transitioned to the Medical Field Battalion, serving as a Medical Platoon Field Commander. In this role, Lt Col Zaid played a pivotal part in developing medical evacuation strategies for CBRNE incidents, warfare scenarios, and civilian disaster response. Known for his leadership and expertise in operational medical planning, Lt Col Zaid has consistently contributed to enhancing military medical readiness and emergency response capabilities throughout a distinguished career that began in 1992.
