Since 2023 Mr. Isayev has served as Deputy Head of Risk Education, International and Public Relations of the Department of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He previously served as Head of International Relations and Protocol Department of the “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC.

Moreover, between 2001 and 2018 he occupied several posts within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, including Attaché to the Human Resources Department, Attaché to the State Protocol Department, Third Secretary of State Protocol Department, Attaché and Consul at Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Indonesia, Third Secretary and Consul at Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Indonesia, Third Secretary of Second (Eastern) Territorial Department, Second Secretary of Second (Eastern) Territorial Department, and Second Secretary at Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, London. He speaks Azerbaijani, English, Russian, and Turkish.
