Head of CBRN Unit, Gegana Corps – Indonesian National Police
Commissioner of Police Yopie Indra Prasetya Sepang currently serves as the Head of the CBRN Unit of the Gegana Corps, within the Indonesian National Police’s Mobile Brigade Command (Brimob). A seasoned officer with a distinguished career in tactical and specialized police operations, he has held multiple leadership roles across Indonesia.
Commissioner Sepang began his service as Head of the Brimob Unit in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) in 2016, later leading the Brimob Unit in Bali while completing the Sespimti Dikreg leadership training. He subsequently commanded the Brimob Unit in Central Java, where he oversaw regional counter-terrorism and public security operations until his reassignment in early 2024.
In January 2024, he was appointed to lead the CBRN Unit of the Gegana Corps, where he directs national efforts in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear preparedness and response. Under his leadership, the unit continues to strengthen its operational readiness and specialized training capabilities, including presiding over the closing ceremony of the Dikbangspes KBRN specialized training in 2025.
Commissioner Sepang holds a Bachelor of Police Science (S.I.K.) and a Master of Science (M.Si.), combining academic expertise with extensive field experience in high-risk operations and inter-agency coordination.
