Dr Antonella Cavallo
Dr Antonella Cavallo is Program Manager for CBRN Global Actions at the European Commission within the European Union CBRN Risk Mitigation Centres of Excellence – the largest civilian external security program of the European Union corresponding to a network of 63 partner countries in Africa, Asia, Gulf Cooperation Council, Middle East and Southeast Europe.
In her previous Commission role, Dr Cavallo led the implementation of the European rescEU CBRN strategic stockpiles and CBRN decontamination and detection capabilities, supported the deployment of CBRN assistance to Ukraine and was deployed as Liaison Officer of the Union Civil Protection Mechanism.
She is passionate about systemic risk preparedness, guided self-organization, communication, academic and private sector engagement.
