Lt. Col. Adisak Klongarsa
With over three decades of experience in CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear) operations and counterterrorism, the Chief of Tactical Support Section has made significant contributions to national and regional security. Since 2022, he has held this prestigious position within the Special Operations Division of the Counter Terrorist Operations Center (CTOC), where he oversees tactical support operations and contributes to countering CBRN threats.
His government service began in 1991, and his expertise in CBRN was cemented early in his career with the completion of a specialized course from the Chemical School, Royal Thai Army in 1993. He further expanded his expertise by completing courses in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) from the Royal Thai Police in 2004, Airborne Training from the Royal Thai Air Force in the same year, and Mine Warfare from the Department of Military Engineering School, Royal Thai Army, in 2015.
Throughout his career, he has served in key roles, including as an Instructor at the Chemical School for over 15 years (1991–2006), where he trained the next generation of CBRN specialists. Since 2006, he has led operations as the Operations Team Leader for CBRN at the CTOC, coordinating and executing counter-CBRN and explosive (CBRN-E) measures.
In recognition of his leadership and expertise, he has been invited to serve as part of the Task Force for INTERPOL’s Chemical Risk Identification and Mitigation Project (CRIMP) for Southeast Asia (2024-2025), reflecting his global standing in CBRN defense.
