Established in 1965 Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP is the leading center of robotics, automation, and industrial measurements in Poland.  Łukasiewicz - PIAP Institute is the first and largest Polish manufacturer of mobile robots for special applications in army, police, border guards and fire fighters. Their products are utilised in C-IED operations, surveillance and remote observation, protection of borders and infrastructure, search and rescue missions, crisis management, monitoring and patrolling, detection and CBRN threats analysis.
