Mr. Mohamed Al Marzooqi, Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation, UAE

Mohamed Al Marzooqi holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and a bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering. He works for the United Arab Emirates Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulations (FANR) as the Acting Manager for the Emergency Preparedness and Response Team. He has been working for the Authority for an almost 3 years where he joined as an EPR Specialist. Before joining FANR, he worked for the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) for seven years within its Health, Safety, and Environment Division. In FANR, Mohamed and his team are providing technical advice to the local, federal and national entities in regards to the different EPR Plans and arrangements related to nuclear and radiological emergencies, this is besides FANR role as UAE Competent Authority under the Emergency Conventions.
