Mr. Mathieu Waeber is currently working as the Learning and Development Manager for the Weapons Contamination Unit (WeC) of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). His most important duty as LnD Manager is to develop different tools to support our staff in the field and be sure that they can perform properly in their daily task in a safe manner regarding weapons contaminations. Before that, Mr. Waeber have been working as an EOD operator in the Swiss Armed Forces. He also has worked in Humanitarian Mine Action in Mali and the Democratic Republic of the Congo where, one of his tasks was the capacity development of the national authorities in term of physical security and stockpile management and in the disposal of obsolete ammunitions and weapons.
