Medical Toxicologist

Dr. Mariapina Gallo has graduated in Medicine and Surgery and postgraduated in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” – Naples.
She received a Master’s degree in Civil Protection against CBRN events at Tor Vergata University in Rome.  

She is currently working as a medical toxicologist at the Bergamo Poison Control Center – Papa Giovanni XXIII Bergamo Hospital.
She is an Instructor of the Advanced Hazmat Life Support (AHLS) Program of the University of Arizona, USA.  

She is a lecturer in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Milano – Bicocca.
Her main fields of interest are emergency medical management of HazMat incidents, CBRNe events, acute poisoning due to drugs, poisons, chemicals and natural toxins.
She has provided numerous scientific abstracts and invited presentations, as well as published many scientific papers.
