Dr. Ling Claytor is a MD, PhD in pediatric cardiology based in Singapore with over 15 years of working experience in the industry and more than ten years of clinical service, teaching, and academic research experience. She attained her medical training and PhD degree at The University of Hong Kong, Post-Doctoral and professional training at Oregon Health and Science University in the U.S. Furthermore, she has two master’s degrees in Biochemistry and Rehabilitation Sciences.
Dr. Claytor takes numbers of medical leadership roles in the region. She currently works as Director, Global Medical Affairs in Emergent BioSolutions. She was the Medical Lead of Abbott Nutrition in Asia Pacific, leading a team of medical doctors dedicated to medical education and also served Roche where she worked as the Affiliate Medical Director leading MA, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, quality and medical compliance. Prior to this, she also worked in various roles with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) and Bayer.
Ling has built extensive scientific relationships and collaborations in Asia and is a recognized expert through her many publications including chapters in medical journals, peer-reviewed papers, presentations, academic talks and lectures.
Dr. Claytor has extensive institutional and pharmaceutical experience in Hong Kong, the U.S. and Singapore.
