COL Robin Neumeier, USAMRICD

COL Robin R. Neumeier, a native of Texas, entered the Army as a Nurse Corps Officer commissioned through ROTC at Stephen F. Austin State University, Texas. She received her Bachelor’s in Science degree in Nursing at Stephen F. Austin State University, attended Medical University of South Carolina where she received a Master’s in Nursing; Midwifery in 2001. In 2017, she graduated from Old Dominion University in Virginia with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Executive Leadership.

COL Neumeier is the current commander of USAMRICD after completing a fellowship with
the United States Army War College at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington DC.
She has enjoyed a variety of positions from Mother‐Baby Staff Nurse, Fort Stewart, GA; Labor
and Delivery Staff Nurse, Landstuhl Germany; Staff Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM), Fort
Hood, TX; Chief OB/GYN Department, Fort Drum, NY; Assistant OB/GYN Department Chief, Heidelberg, Germany; Chief Midwifery Services, Fort Bliss, TX; Chief Nurse 31st Combat Support Hospital, Fort Bliss, TX; DCN Task Force 31, Afghanistan; Chief Midwifery Service then Maternal Child Health Section Supervisor, Tripler, HI; Deputy Commander for Nursing, Fort Benning, GA; Chief Nursing Officer at Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Benning, GA, and Deputy Commanding Officer and Chief of Clinical Operations for 30th Medical Brigade in Sembach, Germany.

COL Neumeier enjoys staying active as a Midwife and remains clinically engaged as a full scope CNM. Professional association affiliations include American College of Nurse Midwives; Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nursing; Armed Forces Association; and Association of Nurse Executives. Military schools include Officer’s Basic Course, 66G AOC Course, Officer’s Advanced Course, Combat Casualty Care Course (C4), Trauma Nurse Care Course, Command General and Staff College, AMEDD Advanced Nurse Leadership Course, Joint Operations Medical Management Course, Joint Forces Combat Trauma Medical Course, AMEDD Executive Skills Course, Defense Strategic Course and Army War College.

Her military awards include Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (6 OCL), Army Commendation Medal (5 OCL), Army Achievement Medal (2 OCL), Overseas Service Ribbon (5), Order of Military Medical Merit, the National Defense Service Medal (1 Star), the Global War on Terrorism Medal, parachute badge, and German Army Fitness Proficiency Badge.

COL Neumeier is married to Keith Neumeier and has three lovely adult children, Katie, Sara, and Austen.
