Joint Project Manager, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) Sensors

Colonel Robert Carter III is the Joint Project Manager for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Sensors (JPM CBRN Sensors). He is responsible for leading the CBRN Sensor portfolio for the whole-of-government within the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO-CBRND). COL Carter serves as the Consultant to the Army Surgeon General for Biochemistry and Physiology.  Most recently, COL Carter served as the Acquisition Advisor for the CBRN and Medical Portfolio at Army Futures Command in Austin, Texas.  Colonel Carter received his PhD. in Biomedical Sciences and Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Epidemiology, Master’s Degree in Biological Sciences, Bachelor’s Degrees in Chemistry and Biology, and is a Distinguished Graduate of the U.S. Army War College (Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies). He completed post-graduate studies at Harvard School of Public Health and published over 100 peer reviewed articles, abstracts and book chapters.
