Prof. Kehe is currently head of the Division Public Health at the Medical Service Headquarter in Koblenz.In his previous function Prof. Kehe served as the CBRN Medical Commissioner of the Surgeon General, Bundeswehr. Prof. Kehe has a board certification in pharmacology and toxicology. He is author/co-author of over 100 publications including peer-reviewed articles and numerous book chapters. He is acting president of the Clinical and Translational Toxicology Specialty Section of the Society of Toxicology. Prof. Kehe is also a professor in pharmacology and toxicology at the Medical School of the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. Prof. Kehe’s work is dedicated to CBRN related medicine especially under austere conditions. His scientific work is mainly on the pathophysiology of sulfur mustard. Now he extended his research to public health threats and force health protection.
