7th CBRN Defense Regiment Cremona

The "Cremona" Nuclear Biological Chemical (NBC) Defence Regiment was constituted on 31st December 1998 after reorganization of the preexistent 7th "Cremona" filed heavy artillery Regiment.

It is organized in a regiment command, a company command and an NBC battalion on 5 companies.

With volunteer personnel, the Regiment is located in Civitavecchia (RM). The War Flag is decorated with a Bronze Medal, a War Cross to the Military Valour and a Golden Cross to the Army Merit.

Like all the artillery regiments, its celebration is on 15th June that is the anniversary of the battle in Solstizio (1918). The NBC units also celebrate the 1st July 1923 that is the anniversary of the Military Chemical Service establishment.
