About our event

In these challenging times, it is now more essential than ever to share our experiences and knowledge in the field of CBRNe (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and explosives), C-IED (Counter-Improvised Explosive Device), EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) and demining. Our continuous strive to adapt to the ever-changing environment, has led us to look beyond the conventional NCT events and brought us to the launch of the NCT Talks. Staying connected is crucial in this period of crisis and knowledge exchange is essential for keeping our societies safe.

Based on the model of its famous NCT events, the CBRNe Society will give the floor to high-level panelists from around the globe, bringing together yet again valuable contributions to today’s discussions in a virtual round table focused on ‘Rethinking CBRN Preparedness and Response in the Post COVID-19 Era’. For its second edition of NCT Talks, the CBRNe Society has chosen to look beyond the current situation and discuss the potential future impact that the pandemic will have on CBRN preparedness and response. Open to everyone, this webinar will feature panelists that cover a crucial role in planning and executing the response to COVID-19: Healthcare professionals, first responders, emergency managers. From the United States of America to Asia, from Europe to South America, several panelists will share their opinions regarding the impact that the current crisis will have on areas such as stockpiling, CBRN training, private-public cooperation and CBRN SOPs.
The opportunity will be given to attendees to ask questions to the panelist and engage in interactive discussions.

The NCT Talks Rethinking CBRN Preparedness and Response in the Post COVID-19 Era will be hosted on Vimeo.
