NCT PRO Outline
NCT PRO Challenge Asia is the result of three years of development of a training concept for Southeast Asia. The original multi-country event changed due to COVID restrictions to a single one-week training event which was adapted to a full two-week training event with RTA SOU and international participants.
The week is organized around scenarios with multiple missions in each scenario. This would work like the following example: a VIP protection mission turns into a CBRN incident when the principal is attacked with an unknown substance and the operators need to safeguard their principal, use basic CBRN decontamination and other counter measures and exfiltrate the area. The follow up mission is the CBRN unit responsible for sampling and the forensic investigation.
NCT PRO Challenge is a public-private cooperation initiative and industry is invited to provide new technology to try, test and evaluate during the trainings. However, the training missions and training the teams is the primary objective of NCT PRO Challenge.

Social media threat leads to suspected anthrax lab.

A hotel worker notifies authorities following suspicious activity inside a hotel room. Worker suspects it is related to the manufacturing of drugs and or bombs.

A defector from North Korea (Government official) is visiting Hua Hin for a family vacation. As they fall under a protection programme, a local team has been asked to secure their living quarters and to escort the VIP to their room.
- Conduct a sweeping search of the room in question
- Escort and remove the VIP whilst neutralizing threat.
Hotel Security notifies authorities that a small Kayak has been found on their beachfront. It is thought the boat was delivered during the night.

Reports have come in to the authorities that the Malay-Muslim secessionist insurgency in the province of Pattani has developed a “dirty bomb”. Suspicion is that they will target a tourist resort popular with Thai tourists. Security at a hotel in Hua Hin notices that a moped is parked near a grassy area of the parking lot, where no mopeds were previously seen.

A threat has come in that a terrorist cell active in the Thai Province of Yala was experimenting with making “dirty bombs”. As the Police approached, the device detonated, and there might be casualties left in the area.

A father and daughter have been poisoned with a possible nerve agent, possibly even a 4th generation agent. They have been found in a park and both the criminal investigation and the treatment of the family would be helped with finding out what agent was used.

Area of operations a NCT PRO Challenge 2022
NCT PRO eXperience will take place in Hua Hin, Thailand at the Naresuan Base of the Royal Thai Border Police.
How does it work?
The start of your participation in NCT PRO is registering your team for the event. Your NCT Consultant will contact you to prepare your participation. The event is not open like other NCT PRO events, but we can request your participation with our event partner.
The next step is to discuss your training goals, team and equipment for the trainings. Once you have been accepted on the training, our NCT PRO Consultant will send you a Team Form to register all your details.
