Mutual Aid in Crisis Response

ABOUT OUR EVENT

NCT Virtual Civil-Military Response “Mutual Aid in Crisis Response” will take place on February 17th from 12:00PM to 06:00 PM (EST). This event will be hosted by the CBRNe Society and will be exclusively sponsored by ADS and Defense Equipment Company.
The event will highlight the importance of cooperation between military and civil authorities during crisis management, whether it is CBRNe incidents, Hazmat or other large-scale incidents that require cooperation between military and civil responders.

The CBRNe Society is committed to creating platforms for CBRNe stakeholders and First Responders to exchange knowledge, build partnerships and promote innovation. When it comes to large-scale crises it is now more essential than ever to share our experience and knowledge, especially among first responders. More recently, the COVID-19 crisis has allowed to raise awareness about the importance of multi-agency coordination and cooperation and the use of military to support civil first responders in crisis, which has been critical especially in terms of logistics.

In that sense, whether we are talking about military support to the civil authorities and vice versa or civil to civil authorities, mutual aid is now more than ever a crucial element to take into account when thinking about national and global incidents response.
Thus, the CBRNe Society is proud to launch its NCT Virtual Civil-Military Response event, hosted on the NCT Virtual platform and free for attendees! During one half day, the CBRNe Society will give the floor to high-level speakers and first responders from both civil and military environment during a virtual conference addressing the theme of mutual aid in crisis response.
In parallel to the conference, the virtual exhibition will showcase ADS and DEC’s newest technologies available to support first responders during their mutual aid response and related “Training Courses” and “New Technologies.
